2025! The year to thrive. We’re all about feeling your best, happiest, healthiest you no matter the month, but January is often a time where we assess what we need going forward. Today, of course we’re talking hair…but we’re also talking about how to feel good on the inside too, as ditching the dye starts as an inside job. 


Here are 10 ways to help you feel great for the new year…


#1 Change the way you talk to yourself 

Rather than looking in the mirror and picking out the parts of yourself you don’t like, change the tune this morning. The words we say become the house we live in and we always say that before changing what’s on your head, change what’s in your head. Find 2 things you like about yourself, it might be easier than you think! 


#2 Start a new book

We’re big bookworms at White Hot and there is no greater way to open your mind, relax and recharge than to pick up a book you have been desperate to read. Top of our list this month is All The Colours Of The Dark by Chris Whitaker.


#3 Switch up your hairstyle

We can all get stuck in a rut or feel bored with our look. Maybe push the boat out and pick up Shooshing Crème for some volume or Lifeshine Oil for a slick ‘do today.


#4 Dopamine dress

I love a neutral. I love white and black. I love grey (of course), I also love navy. But today, I’m going to wear something bright, just because. It feels sunny, bright, optimistic and vibrant and that’s how I want to feel in 2025. 


#5 Get masking
