5 ways to use Shoosh

Shooshing Crème has always been our secret weapon. While it may be small in stature, it more than makes up for it in volume-power. Unlike our light-medium hold Infinity Mousse, Shoosh (as it is more commonly known among super fans), packs a punch, with medium-strong hold. Creamy and lightweight, yet slightly tacky and textured to bring definition, oomph and lift at the root. Plus, if you didn’t already know, a little goes a long way. Less really is more. Today I wanted to share 5 ways you can incorporate Shoosh into your routine…and a couple may surprise you.

#1 The root booster

As mentioned above, Shooshing Crème is great for bringing lift, height and body to your root. Although it can be used on any hair length, this tip is particularly for shorter styles, looking to add some volume and movement. 

#2 The undone look

At White Hot, we love a slightly messy, undone, relaxed style and I loved this look when I had a shorter crop. With Shoosh, you can work it into your hair, teasing and sculpting it into an ‘undone but done’ look, bringing texture and effortless style. 

#3 The curl creator

We are big fans of curly hair. A touch of Shoosh works wonders if you’re looking for definition and de-frizzing on your curls of any length. Simply scrunching a bit into your ends will help to define your hair with ease. 

#4 The slick back

Believe it or not, due to its holding properties, Shooshing Crème is brilliant on days where you’re looking for a low-maintenance style. Perhaps in-between washes, slicking your hair back and adding a touch of Shoosh will prevent any flyaways and keep your hair looking smooth. 

# The revival

Hair feeling flat and floppy? No need to rewash, simply use a pea-sized amount of Shoosh to breathe life and oomph back into your hair in-between washes.
